This storytelling shoot is based around the experiences of model, dancer, author and activist Shalini Bhalla-Lucas since she lost her husband Jeremy to cancer in 2016.
Shalini wanted a series of images that speak to Indian cultural approaches to widowhood and the complexities of melding these deeply ingrained ethnic practices with life in the UK as an independent and empowered woman.
